We’re excited to share two major announcements with our community! To better reflect our growth and commitment to junior golf across state lines, we’re now the Apex Junior Golf Organization (formerly Alabama Junior Golf Organization), and we’re expanding into Georgia!
Why the Name Change?
- Our new name, Apex Junior Golf Organization (AJGO), reflects our goal of becoming a premier junior golf organization across the Southeast.
- The name "Apex" symbolizes our commitment to helping young athletes reach the pinnacle of their golf potential.
- This change allows us to represent not only our home state of Alabama but also new regions as we grow.
Expanding into Georgia
- Starting this season, AJGO will host tournaments and events in Georgia to give more junior golfers access to high-quality competition and development.
- Our Georgia expansion allows us to build a larger, more competitive field of young golfers, enhancing the experience for all involved.
- We’re bringing our mission, values, and high standards to the golf courses of Georgia—creating new opportunities for athletes to showcase their skills, build friendships, and advance in the sport.
What This Means for Our Athletes and Families
- More Tournament Opportunities: With events in both Alabama and Georgia, junior golfers now have more chances to compete and grow.
- Cross-State Ranking System: Players from both states will have the opportunity to see where they stand regionally, fueling growth and friendly competition.

Tour Director
Jammie has been a golf professional for over 20 years. During that time, Jammie has competed on various professional tours. As a Class A PGA Member working in the industry, he has a vast knowledge of the game of golf and tournament golf. Jammie has a passion for coaching and junior golf and has taught a Future Masters champion, numerous AHSAA state champions, PGA Tour players and elite amateur players. Jammie is also a featured instructor with Wisdom in Golf which is one of the largest online channels in the world with over 50 million views and 170K subscribers on YouTube.”
Dustin Wilkins
Program Director
Dustin is a businessperson with a love for golf and juniors. He uses his 25 years of entrepreneurial experience to help guide strategy, growth, and day-to-day operations. Dustin joined the AJGO team in the summer of 2022.
